            Printer Maintenance Information

   Hewlett Packard Maintenance Message Reset Procedures
  Your HP printer menu must be reset to remove the maintenance kit message. Below are procedures for various printers. These procedures are not intended to be used unless a maintenance kit has been installed.

  Resetting the maintenance-kit counter HP laserjet printers 4000/4050
/5000/5100 series
  1 Turn the printer off.
2 While pressing [– Item] and [– Value] turn the printer on.
RESET MAINTENANCE COUNT appears, followed by INITIALIZING.
After a few seconds READY appears.
   
  Resetting the maintenance-kit counter HP laserjet printers 4200/4300 series
 

After a maintenance kit is installed, the maintenance-kit counter must be reset. Use the following procedure to reset the maintenance-kit counter.

1. Turn the printer power off.
2. Hold down the SELECT button, and then turn on the printer power.
Continue holding down the SELECT button until all three printer control-panel lights flash once and then remain on. This might take up to 10 seconds.
3. Press the UP ARROW button to scroll to NEW MAINTENANCE KIT.
4. Press the SELECT button to reset the maintenance-kit counter.
Note Perform this procedure only after a maintenance kit has been installed. Do not use this procedure to clear the PERFORM PRINTER MAINTENANCE message temporarily.

The maintenance kit contains user replaceable parts and instructions for printer maintenance. The printer maintenance kit components are consumable items. (Typically the associated components are not overed under the original warranty or most extended warranty options).
   
  Resetting the maintenance-kit counter HP laserjet printers 4250/4350 series
  After a maintenance kit is installed, the maintenance-kit counter must be reset by using the following procedure.
1 Turn the printer off and then on.
2 When 000MB (the beginning of the memory-count) appears on the control-panel display, press
and hold down (SELECT button). Continue holding down until all three printer control panel
lights flash once, and then stay on. This might take up to 10 seconds.
3 Release and press (UP ARROW button) to scroll to NEW MAINTENANCE KIT.
4 Press to reset the maintenance-kit counter.
NOTE Perform this procedure only after a maintenance kit has been installed. Do not use
this procedure to temporarily clear the PERFORM PRINTER MAINTENANCE message.
Resetting the maintenance-kit counter HP laserjet printers 4345 mfp series
To reset the maintenance-kit counter
1 Turn the MFP off and then on.
2 When the memory count appears on the control-panel display, press and hold 6 until all three
LEDs flash once and then stay on. (This might take up to 20 seconds.)
3 Release 6 and then press 3.
4 Press 6 to select NEW MAINTENANCE KIT.
5 The MFP completes its initialization sequence. The maintenance-kit counter is automatically reset.
Resetting the maintenance-kit counter HP Color Laserjet printers 4600/4610/4650 series
To reset the maintenance-kit counter
1 Turn the printer on and go to the "Configure device" menu item
2 Press "select" and scroll down to "resets" using the arrow keys
3 Press "select" again and scroll down to "reset supplies"
4 Press "select" when "reset fuser" appears
All maintenance kits contain Hewlett Packard or Canon original equipment manufacturer (OEM) feed/separation, pickup and transfer rollers.

Our remanufactured fusers, used in exchange maintenance kits, use the highest quality OEM or third party fuser rollers and parts. Feed/Separation rollers in exchange kits are Hewlett Packard or Canon original equipment parts.  All kits come with a 90 day warranty.

Maintenance kits showing a core charge amount will have this amount added to the sale price. They require the used fuser assembly be returned to one of our warehouses within 15 business days from the date of purchase. A pre addressed return label will be included with the shipment or with the invoice which is mailed separately. Upon receipt of the core, the core charge amount is credited back to the original account or credit card.

RMA numbers must be clearly visible on the outside of all returns. Please use the labels provided to ensure proper credit. Unidentified core returns cannot be credited.
